Tribune Corp IATribune Intranet Info Map- The project, completed as an Information Architect at Closerlook, was to design an integrated navigational solution for a disparate collection of pages and corporate intranet web fiefdoms (org headcount = ~30K). Tribune was under a self-imposed 4 week intranet consolidation deadline to further signify the positive result of a corporate merger between Tribune and Times Mirror Corporation in late 2000. This Info Map represents a "present state" snapshot visualization of how the intranet was serving the informational needs of 30,000 internal users over 80 sub-sites. Large amounts of site data, both analog and digitial,was analyzed and compiled in this snapshot of existing intranet assets, adjusted for redundancy, content dead ends and missing content owners that had caused the need for a global redesign in the first place.-- Tribune Intranet LofisThis example of low fidelity wireframe format, suitable for usability testing and basic interactive review. The prior version of Triblink was actually a highly customizable interface where users could literally control page layout and content. It also had an unbalanced content focus on the Chicago area Tribune companies, whereas the Intranet was serving a national audience.Tribune Results 1 > Triblink makes the news 2 > -- Closerlook IACloserlook.com Site Map- As the Information Architect of the www.closerlook.com site redesign team, I was responsible for researching and baselining a site map which reflected the needs of our clients and other ancillary site users
